Grip of Delusion Radio to Celebrate First Anniversary with Free Download Compilation

Maybe that headline kind of tells the whole story, but I’d like to take a second to congratulate Grip of Delusion Radio on its impending first anniversary. The internet radio station — which is kind enough to stream the audiObelisk podcasts when they come out each month — is currently accepting submissions for bands looking to get involved in a free download comp. Check out the info below from the Streaming Heathen website:

April 1, 2012, is a special day here at Grip of Delusion Radio — it will be the rapture otherwise known as our one year anniversary!  To celebrate this event we are putting together a FREE digital download compilation excellently named:

The Book of Riff Elations:  A G.O.D.r  Compil-ex

We have the name and we have the art and all we need now is YOU, the bands.

If your band plays sludge, stoner rock/metal, doom, fuzz, psychedelic or even a combination of these sounds peppered with blackish, death-like, grinding elements, then we would love to have you as a part of this event!  If this sounds like a cool thing to be a part of then here is what we need from you:

Submit your best track no longer than 10 minutes in length.

Higher quality MP3s are preferred, and please have the track properly tagged.

Also include the following info: Band name, track name, album title, label (if applicable), website (or Facebook, MySpace, ReverbNation, etc.) and email address.

Please send this to: GripODR@gmail.com no later than March 25, 2012

By submitting the song, it is implied that you give us permission to place the song on the compilation that is provided FREE of charge to everyone out there with good musical taste that wants it.
