To Facebook or Not to Facebook?

F (book) you. There’s already the MySpace page, but it’s pretty clear that’s a dying medium. I’m not looking to play games or connect with old high school friends or anything like that. If I had an Obelisk Facebook page, it would purely be a promotional thing for the site. Bands are still on MySpace anyway, so there’s still that, but if anyone who visits this site has any opinions on whether or not it’d be worth my time to make a Facebook, I’d love to hear them either way.

So what do you think? Worth my time or fuck it? Leave a comment and let me know.

    Fuck it.

I have one of each, Myspace for music and Facebook for REAL friends and family. I’m not making friends with bands on Facebook. I’d loose track of the people I want tro be in touch with because of all of the writing on the walls I’m sure bands do…if it’s anything like bulletins on Myspace. I can’t keep up with them these days with 1000+ “friends,” most being bands. I think with your Myspace page and this blog, you are connected enough…..

I also see my own interest in Myspace dying out and there is no desire to replace it with music connections on Facebook.

    Fuck Twitter too….

  3. FACEBOOK is the new myspace. or at least thats what “the people” tell me. T.O.D Radio is on Facebook now and it has brought us alot of new listeners since signing up. It makes it alot more convient for the masses to see what websites like us are up to on a weekly basis.
