Stick with the new video for “Seed Your Mind” from Gothenburg psych rockers Græns, because as much as the first couple minutes might have you scratching your head and wondering where all this is going with the autotune-y effects and ultraweirdo whathaveyou, the place it winds up is a pretty satisfying crescendo in the traditional manner of a build. In that way, Græns — which you’ll note has former Graveyard drummer Axel Sjöberg as a member of their party — set their own context with “Seed Your Mind” such as to let the song live up to the title they’ve given it. I haven’t heard the whole of their impending album, Antitunes, or anything more from it than this track, but it begs further investigation at the very least. I read somewhere that the record is out in September. It doesn’t say it below. I swear I didn’t make it up.

If you hit up Græns‘ Bandcamp, there’s talk of a first album before the new one, but no actual full-length record streaming. Maybe they decided it didn’t represent the band and took it down? That happens sometimes. Instead, you’ll find the Feb. 2026 Groundscore two-songer — like dueling funkadelic freakouts, they are — which almost capture the current lineup of the band (can’t have everything). They may provide some clue to where the album goes, and they may not. They exist and they’re odd, so for sure that’s an appeal whether they made the LP or not.

Might be worth giving a follow, is all I’m saying. The video for “Seed Your Mind” is all trippy DIY charm. If you prefer just-audio, that’s near the bottom of the post. Have at it:
