Codex Serafini European Tour Starts Sept. 2
Heralding last Fall’s full-length, Mother, Give Your Children Sanity (review here), UK weirdopsych troupe Codex Serafini are set to embark on a round of mainland Euro tour dates starting Sept. 2 in Hamburg. They’ll mostly be in Germany and France, which is often how it goes, but are also set to make forays into Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia and the Czech Republic, and so are covering a good amount of ground in a two-week stretch. You’ll note a couple days off between Berlin and Barberaz, France. I wouldn’t be surprised if, in addition to the drive, there’s something up the band’s collective robe-sleeve for that time. I guess we’ll see.
The PR wire offered the following:
Codex Serafini are proud to announce a European tour to promote their second album Mother, Give Your Children Sanity; released physically via Riot Season Records and Echodelic Records November 2025. This release finds them blending the future psych rock of Boris, Goat, and King Gizzard with the avant-garde, art rock of The Mars Volta and Ex Eye to create something more focused and forward thinking than anything they have produced before. The album was recorded and produced by Wayne Adams (Big Lad/Petbrick) at Bear Bites Horse Studio (Green Lung/Petbrick/JAAW).

“This album grew from our shared, deep connection we have to one another and reflects both the power of nature and the struggles we all experience as human beings on this planet. We are grateful to have made it with people we love and respect, and we’re excited to finally share it with everyone out there.” – Codex Serafini
