Hippie Death Cult Announce Summer West Coast Touring
Hippie Death Cult have already been confirmed for Desertfest Belgium this October, and one assumes that some stretch of touring will coincide with that and probably other fest performances, but in August, they’ll do the West Coast as part one of what they’re calling their ‘Summer of Psych’ tour. They’ve got a hometown Portland, OR, show on Aug. 14 with Abronia supporting and then they pick up in Seattle a few days later before heading south to Arizona in the company of Earth Tongue, which is a killer one-two punch for an evening in Bend or wherever you happen to find yourself.
I’m assuming two more legs of touring will be announced, one in the Midwest, one more easterly, but I know nothing about how Hippie Death Cult are carving up the US these days, so take everything I say with an according grain of salt. That would be a lot to fit in, with the October tour on the horizon, but you never know. That’s also a lot of hitting it for a band to do not on the back of a new record, so while we’re speculating…
