High Desert Queen European Tour Starts May 8
High Desert Queen, doing like they do. The Spring European tour dates below were previously announced, but there were enough shows filled in that I thought it was worth posting the update, if my reasoning matters. The Austin-based heavy rockers have a slew of festival slots on this run, including Desertfest Oslo, which kicks off the tour on May 8, as well as the Desertfests in Berlin and London, and Grand Paris Sludge. Kind of business-as-usual for High Desert Queen at this point, but it still looks like a rad tour.
I haven’t heard anything about a third full-length yet from the band, but I have to think riffs are cooking by now, and they’re too smart to let momentum slip — hence all the touring — and with more Fall touring presumed around already confirmed appearances at Emissions From the Monolith in Ohio and NYC’s …In the Key of Doom, their busy year would seem not to end here. Album in 2027? I guess we’ll see.
