Well, Truckfighters are playing, and that right there should be all the more a draw in light of the fact that by the time November gets here, their first album in a decade, Masterflow, will have been out for some months (it releases April 10). But the band themselves are always part of the draw for their Truckfighters Fuzz Festival either way, and this seventh edition brings Greenleaf (also new album this year? here’s hoping), Valley of the Sun, Guenna, Congulus and Crash and Burn, so there’s plenty to dig. I’m especially stoked to see Guenna as their 2024 debut, Peak of Jin’Arrah (review here) was killer, though of course one knows from experience at this point that when it comes to curation, Truckfighters perhaps unsurprisingly have an ear for fuzz.

I saw Greenleaf at Truckfighters Fuzz Festival #3 (review here) and just to save you clicking that link I’ll tell you they were incredible. Valley of the Sun appeared the next year, in 2023, and will be making a return as they continue to support 2024’s Quintessence (review here) — unless they’ve also got something new in the works and are headed back to Europe to herald; so many possibilities! — which was self-released, though the Ohio band are veterans of Truckfighters‘ label, Fuzzorama Records, as well.

Bottom line? Good bill. Would go.
