Yuri Gagarin Added to Jam in the Psych Castle
Swedish spaceplungers Yuri Gagarin are the latest addition to Jam in the Psych Castle, the new festival co-presented by this site (and a bunch of others) taking place this September in Pusztazámor, Hungary. They join a broad lineup of international acts, from Poland’s Spaceslug and assorted Italian outfits like MR.BISON and Giöbia to homegrowns like The Qualitons, Band in the Pit and Azutmaga, plus a jam session overseen by Psychedelic Source Records, which in my mind kind of underscores the vibe of the whole thing. I doubt I’ll be there to see it, but to be sure I’d go in a second.

Most groups arrive with special sets or improvised sessions, creating a l’art pour l’art atmosphere.
We believe art is a way to understand human cognition, and that music – the oldest art form of all – can teach us to recognize our hard-wired emotional nature through shared experiences. Therefore, we invite you to join our journey on the first weekend of autumn!

The event lasts until 2:00 AM on both nights, after which all guests must leave the venue. Accommodation options are very limited in the village.
