And to Walter and Adam Otracina for helming the afterparty. Whether they were coming from near or far, it really felt like everybody put something extra into the show and I was continually humbled and blown away by what I saw and heard all day and into the night. People loaning each other gear, making adjustments on the fly, starting and ending on time, everything came together better than I could’ve hoped, and it was just wonderful to see. I am deeply grateful.

Thanks to Jaime Traba for recording the audio of the sets. More on that hopefully soon. Thanks to Frank Huang for capturing video. I’m going to take a couple weeks and really think about whether this is something I want to do again, but if I do, I know it won’t be an annual thing. Thanks for putting together a great show. Drove from Ohio for it and wasn’t disappointed. I had high expectations for most of the bands and EVERY band exceeded my expectations. Aside from the great bands, I don’t think I’ve ever seen an all day show at a bar go as smooth as this one went. Not a single argument or fight. No delays between bands. No egos. What a great day. Cheers to everyone who helped put it together and helped pull it off.

I shouldn’t pick a favorite set because they were all so amazing and deserve long, fantastic write-ups by someone with better writing skills than I, but I will anyways. MARS RED SKY! Damn what a set.

    Thanks!
