Spiritual Beggars Announce New 7″ Due in May
Long-running Swedish heavy rockers Spiritual Beggars will release their ninth album, Sunrise to Sundown, in March through InsideOut Music. That announcement came through a couple weeks ago. Looks like the band wound up with a little more material than they could use for the album, however, since H42 Records sends word that the five-piece will issue a new 7″ single through the label in May on which both included songs will be covers.
No info yet about exactly whose material it is Spiritual Beggars will be taking on, but considering the band’s tenure spans more than two decades and their influences have always been classic in origin, it seems fairly wide open on the actual track selection. I guess Spiritual Beggars covers whoever’s songs Michael Amott feels like playing. Could be anybody.
Spiritual Beggars head out on tour starting in March and will be playing through the summer and most likely beyond. Info on the single and show dates follow:
NEW SPIRITUAL BEGGARS 7″ COMING MAY FROM H42 RECORDS
SPIRITUAL BEGGARS returns in march 2016 with a new album called “Sunrise To Sundown” and a additional 7″ out on H42 Records. We are so proud that we are now part of the Spiritual Beggars History! During the sessions for their new album, the stoner legends from Sweden recorded two new cover tracks (non-album) for this 7″.
The single will be released in May in different editions on H42 Records!
