Make a Plan to See Lo-Pan

…Because they’re awesome, and because it’s not every band bold enough to tour in the Wintertime, even if they are heading to paradises both south and west. Okay, so really it’s more of a late-Fall tour, running from the middle of this month into December, but hey man, it’s cold in Ohio, Indianapolis and Chicago. It still counts. Here are the dates from the PR wire:

Where do you find the tour dates for all these bands? Is it by the band’s individual websites, or do you know of a place where you can search for tour dates. I only ask because right now, without scouring the dozens of active bands I listen to, I know of very few places to find tours (ticketmaster being #1 and that’s only good for big names). I want to see more shows, support more beginning bands and underground artists. Hell I live in Orlando, we have a huge number of venues of all sizes, I need to get out there. Help a fellow metalhead out if you can.

    • Hey man, almost all of what I get comes in press releases sent by labels and PR companies. I would say sign up for band and label mailing lists if you want to know that kind of stuff. That’s probably the best way to go.
