(More) Blatant Vitus Worship
Since this post is the one that knocks the live review off the main page, and since I’m not ready to be done with it yet, I thought it might be appropriate to post some more live video from Saint Vitus‘ Brooklyn show at Europa. Basically it’s another chance for me to say how much ass they kicked last Saturday. And just because I couldn’t decide which clip to post, here’s two:

“The Troll” was out of control heavy at this show. Glad someone put up a clip of it.
Didn’t see your review until just now. I was lucky enough to see Saint Vitus in June 1985 opening for Black Flag the day after I graduated high school. It was a complete mind blower. At that show, the crowd was too stunned and confused to be hostile to Saint Vitus. Some people really liked it but most saved their energy to hate Black Flag for having long hair.
I will say that as great as that show was, they were even better now than they were then. (Even though it was before when Wino was in the band). Weed is our destiny!
