Every so often, this bands name comes up again and usually there is some mention of exciting news to come, which inevitably, never does. Last year it seemed they might be playing in Europe this past spring, but that never happened. The great Willy B. and Ripple Music both commented at the end of 2011, that there would be exciting Ogre news to come.
Now with the news of an Eldemur Krimm reunion show this summer, I can’t help but think, what we need is an Ogre reunion as well.
Seven Hells is one of the few albums I always have with me. I don’t leave home without it. For as much praise, the last album gets, and the devotion by fans to their first, this one does it for me. If forced to make an all-time top 10 list, Seven Hells would probably find its way on it or be among the contenders fighting for a spot. I count myself among the very few and extremely fortunate who got to see Ogre perform the entire Seven Hells album, start to finish at Geno’s in Portland in May of 2009.
So what about? Someone out there have news? Arzgarth? Willy B.? Ripple Music? Anyone?
I thought they were on this year's lineup. I too would like an Ogre reunion. "Dogmen of Planet Earth" is a perpetual favorite of mine. And Plague of the Planet is a beast. A beast I tell you!
Before they hung it up, there was talk about all three releases getting the vinyl treatment. Never panned out, which is one of life's greater disappointments.

Hey guys. Thanks for all the kind words. I'm really happy to not be completely forgotten.
Every time we post that we've got "big news," those plans always fall apart. Nothing is going on. No reissues, no new music, no shows, nothing. We were going to do the "Days of Doomed," but we couldn't make it work when the date/venue for the show got changed.
I did draw a cover for a CDR of rarities that we were going to sell at the DoD show. You can check it out, and other stuff, on my art page here:

I'm sure we'll do a show or two at some point, but I'm not sure when.
In the meantime, I will see you at the Krimm show!
Thanks again!
Willy B thanks for the update. Any plans for making the CD-R of rarities available?
Lastly, are any of the 3 of you involved in any other bands? I know at one point you and Ross were with Blood Farmers shortly after Ogre if I’m not mistaken.
The CDR will be available if and when we do any shows in the future.
In terms of the whole BLOOD FARMERS thing, Ross and I just filled in for those guys for the "Doom Or Be Doomed" fest in Baltimore, and the amazing BLOOD FARMERS/CHURCH OF MISERY/OGRE tour of Japan. We were never officially a part of the group.
As far as current projects go, Ross and I are in a psychedelic rock group called DEMENTIA FIVE, which also includes my wife Peri on vocals. It's a lot of fun. We are working on a recording, and I'm sure I'll post more about that once it nears completion.
Last I heard, Ed was playing with some fellas he met at church, and is trying to get them to learn "Hemispheres!"
