need info on matt pike: in hospital with blood clot in brain

is this fucking true? apparently Sleep canceled their performance at the Primavera Festival in Spain and Pike is in the hospital where they found a blood clot in his brain. can't find alot of info tho, need more eyes on the case

Yeah, I wish someone in the Sleep/HOF camps would make an official statement. I am hoping it is just a rumor.

I guess that means it was a blood clot from zion and this was a waste of tiamat. Hopefully it's another 10,000 years (or more) before Matt finds himself a face of oblivion in the fertile green.

I don't know the guy personally, but I don't think getting sober is going to change his attitude toward music much if at all. He seems like a lifer, booze or no booze. Glad he's trying to get well and stick around. We don't need any more dead heroes.
