Palms' debut album will be issued by ISIS' former label, Ipecac Recordings, and is slated for a 2012 release with a release date to be announced soon. The album was recorded and mixed by Harris, and produced by Palms.

Palms is Jeff Caxide (bass/keyboards), Aaron Harris (drums), Clifford Meyer (guitar/keyboards) and Chino Moreno (vocals).

This is cool. It sounded like it was Aaron Turner who put ISIS to bed, so this gives the remaining guys a shot at moving forward as they likely wanted to.

I've never heard the Deftones though. Everyone says that guy is a great vocalist. I guess I'll find out, as I'm pretty much aboard with this, being the big ISIS fan I've always been.

edit - oop, now looking at that article again, I see that the "other" guitarist in ISIS is not in this. It's too bad, as that guy was really the backbone/bad-ass in their live sound(s). Clifford Meyer was the keyboard/third guitar player in ISIS. Regardless, I'm still giving it a shot.
