Got to admit, they were great live but I've never been a big fan of these guys on record. But listening to the stream of this right now and digging what I am hearing. I get the 'Best since Big Black" comments that have been attributed to this one. I actually think that, so far, this is better, though that obviously doesn't mean a heck of a lot since I wasn't all gaga over TBB, but the songs seem more rounded out on this one. And those guitars...

Just checking this out for the first time now....didn't even know a follow up to last years was coming until I saw the recent ATIH update.

Mid-way through this now and it seems like a bit of a let down. More space, less music, kinda boring me. Take that kinda back...track 3 is showing some nice promise...

Iron Monkey/Church Of Misery - We've Learned Nothing/Murder Company Thee Split CD

Scored it off amazon for 15! There's a copy on there for 300!!!! Never heard Iron Monkey before, always wanted to, and this was a fine into. LOVED the first track especially, that intro is sick. Guest singer on it but sounded just like the other two tracks. Never heard hatred have such groove before. Very interesting.

There doesn't seem to be an intro thread, so I guess I'll just jump right in here... I'm listening to Dark Castle at the moment, I wouldn't have expected much from the band name but "Spirited Migration" is an instant classic.
