Please come celebrate with us in grand fashion on December 16 at the Velvet Lounge in Washington DC with our friends Rezin and the excellent Kingsnake from Philadelphia. It's our first DC headlining show since Splitting Sky dropped on CD in late June, but more importantly since it's release on vinyl in October via No Balls Records. It's taken a while, but we're ready to launch it locally with our own show, not opening up.

The show will also be a celebration of the release of the new 7" for "Concentric Cirles/Circulos Concentricos," which dropped in October on Ghost highway Recording (Spain). The show will be emceed by Metal Chris, proprietor of www.dcheavymetal.com and we'll have stoner and doom spinning upstairs between the bands. If that's not enough to get you out, maybe we need to have free beer!

7. Borracho – Splitting Sky – (review) I love it when you’re expecting something and you have high hopes for it. You finally receive what it is you’re looking for and it totally blows away your expectations. Yeah, Borracho’s debut Splitting Sky is like that. This album is so good that I own it on both CD and vinyl. It’s an awesome debut album that has been talked about highly since it’s release earlier in the year. It’s long at 57 minutes long but it sucks you in and makes you forget about time.
