Good luck dudes! If I weren't a scummy-ass broke band manager I'd invest.

Once I get full-time employment ;-)

Thanks. Yeah it's an experiment really. We'll be putting out the record we did with Gary Arce in the coming months and then hopefully before the end of the year do the next LP (the one we're looking for funding help with on this Indie Go Go campaign). We're also open to offers for split releases. Have been contacted by a few bands already and would love to get them happening as well.

I vote 1 for split with Winterun!!!

I know those dudes just put out that new EP but they're one of my favourite Aussie bands. Doesn't hurt that they're a bunch of kick-ass lads.

Psychostick did something similar to this. After their financial backer for their 2nd LP fell through they sent a plea out to fans - donations for your name on the album. Any pledge about $50 would get your name on the record. They quickly raised the 5K (or whatever) for the album and released it. The last song, "373 Thank Yous," was nothing but a medley of the tunes off the album with the names of 373 people in place of any lyrics. It was over 14 minutes of people's names. And while it wasn't a great song (for obvious reasons) it was a neat idea.

Yeah that sounds awesome Klepto. I'm trying to think of innovative ideas to include as 'perks' for the kind folks that donate. Any ideas, people feel free to post them here.

Artwork/packaging is coming to the final stages for our next release, with Gary from Yawning Man. Blown away, this thing sounds and looks amazing. If I do say so myself.

Man, it's on my list to review tomorrow. Ed beats me to the punch again. There's just no keeping up with that guy.
