These guys put out a fairly cleaned up tape in the mid-90's i've been poking around for. They're in the fine TX tradition of nutz phyche/metal-punk-alt.what-ever-the-fuck from Red Krayola to the Dicks to Scratch Acid. They called Denton home and one of the guys from Slobberbome saw'm and I bought'm a beer.

This tape is one from a collection that was sold to Dreadful Records in Col. Ahia; 700 plus and pretty much all great. I bought 10. Exodus, GBH, Agnostic Front, Dischange, Voivod, Napalm Death, AxCx, Slayer; etc. I'ma circling that pile....

SO; this one was recorded live at EMO's in '94 and it sounds great. Mix with Victims Family, Jesus Lizard, The Big Boys, and Sweet Diesel. The Punk aggro. side of the alt. stream. Great.

That reminds me, I need to track down the first Life Sentence tape.

Woody if you saw this pile of tapes you'd fucking have a heart attack. I haven't checked to see if Lazer at Dreadful has put up a picture. I'm pretty sure i sold the dude some of these tapes in '86-'88 when i worked at Mags. He had some cool demo's too. The only thing I DON'T like about EXODUS "bonded by blood", -yeah this is the first time i've heard it!- is the tape doesn't have the awesome conjoined good twin/bad twin cover.

I'm also filling out my "Dis", collection.

Great album that really captures their crazy-ass live show well. "Mutilation Makes Identification Difficult" is their follow-up studio album. Really fucking great set of songs. They reunite about once a year to play couple of shows, and then they go back to whatever it is that they do in the meantime. They had a video on 120 minutes that only got shown once, I think.
