Hey guys, you may know i'm the guy that posts the Day After The Sabbath comps in here.

I have a theme for a new comp but probably need a bit of help and I know you are all pretty knowledgeable types!

I'd like to do a comp of hard rockin tracks used in 60s/70s movies, either complete songs by bands (though as my blog is based on obscurities - songs by top tier famous bands may not be so appropriate) or maybe just great heavy incidental guitar music too. I guess The use of James Gang's "Country Fever" in Zachariah is a perfect example of what I'm looking for: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xH1UumsiFUE

Anyone got any ideas?

Cheers!

Davie Allan & the Arrows did some incredible fuzzed out jams for a lot of 60's biker movies.

Great suggestion mate. I just found the Devil Angels soundtrack look forward to giving it a listen!

Not obscure band but a famous appearance by the Yardbirds in 'Blowup':

There is at least one hard rock-track by Goblin on the "Dawn Of The Dead"-soundtrack.

The soundtrack to Vanishing Point has some good acts on it. Mountain is probably the most rocking of the bunch.

They made a movie called Good To See You Again, Alice Cooper. Not sure if they were in another movie.

I'd like to forget Kiss Meets The Phantom.
