We need to have a thread on The Godz so the same 3 or 4 people can talk about how completely mint they are. "Gotta Keep A Runnin" is the greatest live in the studio rap of all time, and I'm always feeling fine on some 714's!

Just talked to a friend of mine who'se mid 80's band ,punk-as it were-, used to do 714. The Gibson Brothers often would play "gotta keep a runnin'" in their own destroyed grusome "amphetamine country" style. They play occasionally usually with American Dog.

I did most of the "Gotta Keep A Running" rap on stage in Columbus during our song "Hands Up (If You Want To Get High)." There was about a dozen MACHINES in the crowd who recognized it, but someday there will be THOUSANDS of us!!

I love Golden Earring, and they do a righteous cover of "Candy's Going Bad".

Saw the Godz - I think I saw them open for Metallica on the Master of Puppets tour - horrible band that night lol. Some Green Window Pane that night makes the whole evening a little fuzzy though. I mean they were good at what they did I suppose but they were the wrong band for that show big time. The crowd was more interested in Dimebag (then known as Diamond) and Vinnie throwing smoke bombs into the audience from the top rail of the venue during their set.

Really spotty recording history for this band, but it seems like the 85' release, or maybe it was the middle one, wasn't bad. I'll have to look them up to clarify what I'm talking about.
