I watched all these obessively as a child except for Magnum PI and Sanford and Son, I left after the them.

Good thread. I like TV themes that explain the premise of the show within the shows theme song.

Starting with this...

Through this...(I'm a Mike fan so I went with this version

This is one of the last good ones to use the intro for exposition.

Man that Twin Peaks soundtrack is infuriating. Especially in the first three episodes. It swells every time someone cries or goes crazy, which happens a lot in those episodes.

Girlfriend made me start watching this show. It's not bad as a show (besides the over use of slow motion montages over moody music) and it's sexy for sure. I dig on the theme song though. Kind of reminds me of RJD2.
