Got to admit, this album has grown on me the past year or so. As much as I love David Gilmour's guitar work (he's my favorite guitar player) I just can't get into his vocals. I think I might be starting to move beyond that now though and thats allowing me to enjoy this. Might have to go back and revisit some of his other PF work with him on vocals (such as Momentary Lapse of Reason)

Yeah, I have 'Sad Days, Lonely Nights' too, but I prefer MTHWO. I'll end up getting them all eventually. Dude was a bad-ass. This is probably the second time in the last six months that I've just completely gone off on that album.

^ Verdict on the new Evoken?

NP: Process of Guilt - Faemin

Spanish doom band w/ a love for Neurosis' tribal drumming and Entombed-esque guitar tones...very pleasant surprise.

Great stuff :) Very much in the vein of Dead Roots Stirring, which I can only applaud.

Been debating on this one. Have CD of original release. I take it it's a massive improvement?

I'm actually going to keep both versions b/c I dig what Anderson was doing during the first go-around, but Boatright took this already massive sounding album and made it even more massive w/o sacrificing any of the grit...for a lack of a better comparison, it's the HoF equivalent of Metallica hypothetically remastering the bass on And Justice For All...already great, if not legendary album, w/ additional heft.
