Hey heavy, where'd you find that new Behold! The Monolith? ATIH only has the S/T, which I've had and love, and amazon only has it in MP3. I want the real mccoy. And yes, those are my only two resources for online record shopping. When I need to expand I will. Like in this situation.

EDIT- 10 clams straight to the band at their own website? Me likey. Didn't realize this was just released yesterday. I'm diggin' the reviews, especially your saying it's HOF meets doom. Those are my 2 favoritist things.

^ Sorry for the tardy response...I got the $12.99 album + shirt deal off their Bandcamp page...such a killer album...great mix of ragers and slower doom tunes...I haven't checked but it sounds like Billy Anderson did the production, which is appropriately gritty.

And yeah, I was reading their official site and it did in fact say that Billy Anderson did the production! HOF + doom influences produced by Billy = winner winner chicken dinner. As soon as Feb. hits and I get my check I'm ordering this thing. In fact I think I'll go listen to the 1st one to tide me over. After Rev. Biz.'s Harbinger of Metal EP ends that is.

Right on w/ Rhyton...very good stuff.

I know a lot of fans of Drudkh's early work - me included - have been turned off by their recent output, but the new one, Eternal Turn of the Wheel, is a damn fine revisitation of earlier albums.

Thanks HeavyAxe for letting us know a new Behold the Monolith is available.
I ordered it from them online yesterday and broke out the 3 song EP this morning.
Now listening to this...

That picture is awesome and hilarious changeling. This is what I hear her saying in her head:

"Ho hum, la di da, playing the keys, in this band, dew dewdew dewdew..."

Meanwhile there's some dude thrashing in the background...

What do they sound like? I don't mind keys, but not much in actual metal that I have enjoyed with keys.
