Sweet. The other night I watched the live feed from ISS. They had a camera in cupola (big windowed dome thingy) and I watched the sun rise and set as the station cruised around Earth. Pretty amazing.

those spiral galaxies are spinning in opposite directions, and they don't really look like they are interacting. Hmmm.

The one on the left is probably between 100,000 and 500,000 light years closer to us than the one on the right, which is why they're not merging. They appear to be adjacent in that photo, but they're not.
