I've already answered how the US is more bureaucratic in the post you supposedly didn't read. I'm not going to repeat myself. Something which you seem incapable of.

I didn't SAY anything of the kind.

I'm posting the wikipedia page for "quality of life" per nation. In response to this:

No, you didn't. It was shoved back down yer throat.

I think I get your picture joke better now, though—it's supposed to be your wife's j*zz on me, amirite?

hohoho. Pretty good, Mr. wifep***s.

You can return to losing the "bureaucratic" argument whenever you're ready.

If that doctored wifej*zz picture is the best support you have that Canada's healthcare system being more bureaucratic than Canada's, you've lost the argument.

But look on the bright side: maybe surgical removal of your wife's p***s will be covered under Obamneycare.

?!!??

Can someone lose an argument that makes no sense? This thread has taken a wonderful existential turn. Is Canada worse than Canada?

Indeed.

And also

wait for it.

Just a typo. Keep it wrinkled, son. You don't get off that easily.

Despite your constant attempts at diversion, so far that onassis dude is still kicking yer ass.

I know I shouldn't be getting into this discussion, but even though that data is outdated, and AresOnasis already put up a more recent table, you should take a look at all the other countries which are in front of the USA and try to determine the health care system they have. Oh that's right, it's all universal health care (in most cases single payer probably).

Here in Belgium we have the same thing, and there is no bureaucratic stuff going on. You show up at the doctor and he diagnoses or threats you. You pay him and he gives you a piece of paper in return which you send to your insurance agency and you get most of the money back.

Yes, when the procedure you need isn't really urgent, it's possible you will have to wait a bit to have it. However, if it is very urgent, you will be put to the front of the queue and you do not have to wait.

I cannot understand why you wouldn't want this system really. Two of my best friends both need very expansive medication (it costs about as much as they make each month), yet they pay almost nothing for it themselves (they do not even need to front the money and they get their medication immediately).

The reason why they don't want it is because of a greed. They don't understand that when you prop up the less fortunate of your society, it only helps the rest of society. They get enjoyment from destroying the ladder behind them. They do it so nobody else can use the same ladder to advance.

You'll also notice that these types of people want economic class division. They don't want people being equal. They want some type of superficial separation so that they can justify their unethical and immoral behaviour. It's a lot easier to commit immoral acts against people when you dehumanize them.

Well here is the funny thing....

I do the same thing. I go to the doctor and I sign a piece of paper and I get treated instantly and with the some of the highest level of care in the world.

And I don't pay a base tax rate of 54% like residents of Belgium.

I'm sorry, but no matter how much money you make or where you live, your government is not entitled to more than half of what you make. When you are paying over the 50% threshold...
you're an idiot. I mean seriously....

You expect someone else to spend the majority of the money you earn?

No thanks. Good luck with everything tho.

(Racer wants someone else to spend his money of course because he lives on a dirt lot so anything is better than the current reality)

Neither do we. The top tax rate is 50%. It used to be more, but a few years ago the government removed the top two levels (which I don't agree with to be honest). Most people do not pay the top tax rate though, so it's more like 40 or 45%.

Personally I don't mind paying a lot of taxes if they are used well (which is not always the case, I will grant you that) and I prefer to live in a society where government takes care of its people, instead of a society where everyone takes care of himself.

The Scandinavian countries have an even higher tax rate than Belgium, but they are always at the top when it comes to quality of life etc. So when it is done correctly, everybody wins.

I believe a society should be judged by how it handles its most vulnerable citizens, which are the poor, the sick etc... In my view, the USA isn't very good at that. It's very good at handling the rich though.

It's rather nice that this board has its own Ann Coulter clone.
