Not sure of its weekend hours, but you ought to check out Mike and Patty's. Close to the theater district/Chinatown, so watch out for homersexyalls and ninjas.

The whole "Best Of..." is a crap shoot.
The Cutty sangwich was on good bread - so what. I'll go to Iggy's and get my own fucking bread and make a proper Scooby sangwich. Their whole hype is the Saturday only pork sangwich, that they only put two paper thin slices on. They should be embarrassed.

Fuckers.

If you're spending your time in Boston looking for good sandwiches and Mexican, you're a little misguided.

It all depends on where you go and what you order. I love Felipe's, I go there all the time, but I only ever order the burrito, never had anything else there and have no desire to try anything else. Also, great sandwiches at Shay's in Harvard Square. Never went to any of the other places mentioned in this thread, so I can't defend them or agree with you. Fuck, go to Redbones in Davis Square. If you don't like that then I don't know what to tell ya.

Also, amazing banh mi sandwiches in Chinatown, had one today. $3.50 for a good sized authentic banh mi. Totally rules.

The Felipe burrito was fine. I knew I was taking a chance with the Horchata.
I'm mostly going to places I've always enjoyed, mostly....and have a history with (or 'family tradition' type dealio).

I haven't been to Redbone's in years.
It's near the Larry Lee Lewis Vaudeville Elm Street Theatre, right?

One brother bitches aboot it being 'greasy', while the other has gone vegetarian.
Kinda fucks me oot of the deal.

Redbones is good but if you want bbq, you're probably better off with Blue Ribbon. No beer there, though. Soul Fire in Allston Rock City is good too.

"Midnight Meat" sounds like Bolt's latest screenplay.

Im a little misguided....I spend my time in Boston looking for good sangwiches and Mexican - as long as you don't work in those type o restaurants, avoidance shan't be a problem.

You've been here before, I get it (from, lived, something, etc.) my first post was a bit ignorant, I admit it. However, there's a lot of new englanders that don't understand good common food, let alone visitors. Going out of the way to East Boston, you don't seem to be one of them. Continue the positive food trek

When in Boston, be sure to stop by one of Sib Hashian's tanning salons. 10% discount if you drop Arzgarth's name.

Here's a really personal question, but how are your bowels holding up? Quite a run going on.
