So I just went to the Offical Black Sabbath page and I'll be damed if there wasn't a single image with Bill in it on the start up page! I mean I may have missed it since I'm on my phone but it looked like they want to keep Bill out of sight... If so, i have now lost all Respect for them. We can blame someones wife all we want but I would think this is something the members would have some say over.

This is the entire background. It seems he's been hidden or cropped out of everything.

It's like "Oh, we just accidentally managed to arrange all these polaroids so you can't see some other guy! I guess he couldn't have been that important!"

Sabbath was the best 3 piece in all of metal. It's crazy how they were able to do well without a percussion player. It's a real testament to their talent.

Wait... Oh... nvm then.

That is such a fucking lame thing to do...I can't even wrap my head around such stupid 13-year-old antics being applied to one of the greatest bands to ever exist. Sharon is a complete mega-cunt, but for the rest of them to go along with this is just about as cunty. Tony is typically known to be a dick, Ozzy is probably not even aware of any of it...but Geezer...goddammit Geezer I expected better from you.

nothing involving Sharon should be a surprise to anyone.

That's a pretty shitty thing to do.

I'm more inclined to believe that this has been done by Sharon, Sharon, and Sharon. She is that juvenile and that fast and loose with their legacy and she has a way of circumventing artists. Even her own husband.

Ozzy said he didn't even know about it when she replaced the bass and drum tracks on "Bilzzard" and "Diary" and when he found out he told her how unhappy he was about it. Which is why they were restored and RE-re-released.

"Ozzy stated in his recent autobiography that he felt sorry for removing Daisley's and Kerslake's tracks from the album and he did include he had nothing to do either with the removing or the re-recording process. "

Its Sharon. She gains the trust of artists and then circumvents them on these kind of decisions.

I had forgotten about this whole can of worms and you are 100% right in bringing this issue up. And to think Bill was always the one that stood by Ozzy. Just horrible.

This fucking sucks. Arz and I just had a few beers (no, we didn't make out) and talked about this a little. Up to now I was like "yeah, Bill not playing in Sabbath sucks, but what can you do, shit happens". THIS though, this is something else. Taking him out of classic, old photos of the band??? BULLSHIT. Like my buddy Clay said, Mike Bordin will sound awesome on those Sabbath reissues! Fuck them. Fuck Sabbath. This is total 100% bullshit.

I can't wait to be front row at Lollapalooza with my "Where's Bill?" sign! I had my ticket before the Line-up was announced (went to Chicago for Lolla last year for the first time and had a blast).

I know they Black Sabbath doesn't owe me a damn thing but I am personally offended by this whole ordeal. It's obvious money is (but shouldn't be) an issue. How well off do your great-great-great grand kids really need to be when the world is going to (hopefully) end in a few months anyways?

We need to get a class trip together to "The Veiw" or whatever that show is so we can bitch out Sharron in person...

Quick devil's advocate: Would it be a good idea to use classic photos *with* Ward in them if you're promoting a Black Sabbath without him? Possibly more important, would using photos with Ward give Ward legal recourse to sue for using his image in promotional materials?

Of course, you could always say "Don't use classic photos at all," but then we couldn't bitch about this.

That's a valid perspective. I would have just used new promo photos. But I guess they didn't want to spend the money on new photos rofl.
