It's a real travesty that I don't have any Weedeater albums.

My interest in sludge has seriously dropped off in recent years. Most things in this genre just remind me how awesome Eyehategod is.

yeah I'm not really into sludge, either. mostly just desert/stoner/fuzz, throw in some noise, but to mix in some sludge I'll just throw in eyehategod. then some other bands you can't label with anyone else because they're not limited to anything. still haven't been to more than a couple shows since my 20's, and even if they do come to this town I don't go, wouldn't drive to cleveland so I can walk home 70 miles drunk, and there really isn't as much going on to keep me active like our old days. maybe when I get to LA, I don't know, can't imagine the crowds, and all the chicks distracting me, trying to get me busted, might need security with me.

I really dug that 1st Hail! Hornet, Dixie Dave's bass tone on that album was redunkulous

I don't know how to embed youtube clips, but linked below is a new song by -16- off an album coming out soon from Relapse. not too shabby, I sort of miss the hooks from "Zoloft Smile", but they do what they do, yuns know.
