Just finished listening to the new Melvins tape. It confirms my opinion that I only like their metal stuff. Their "experimental" material always seems kinda whack and like they're trying too hard. Serious demerits for a Wings cover.

Watching King Buzzo on FOX News' 'Red Eye' right now. I had heard about this before, but always assumed he was just a segment guy, like the Cobalt guy, but he is actually sitting in the studio for the entire hour. Wow.

My boy totally hooked me up with a ticket to their show at Lit in NYC tomorrow night. The last time they were in town, they sold out Webster Hall, which has a capacity of 1500 or so. There were only 175 tix for tomorrow. Fucking psyched!

The art show and the show at Lit were both dope as hell. The set list was mostly newer stuff and it ripped. The crowd was pretty chill too. Good times all around.
