i've never met anyone in black pyramid, and until yesterday, only had one album. i don't know the context of what you said to gein, as i don't personally know either of you, but it seemed cold blooded, even if i am out of line saying so.

everyone just needs to take a deep breath. you don't have to quit the internet every time you get disgusted with it. just walk away from it for a while. i've "quit" both of the current sr.com offshoot boards several times, silently...that way, when i'm ready to participate in discussion around here once again, i can slip in and no one even knows i was gone.

I could never get through more than about 30 seconds of any one of this band's songs. Always meant to try to give 'em an honest go, since they seemed to get decent reviews (apart from the vocals). But, after reading through this thread, I'm thinking my original "pretentious wankery warning flag" was accurate.

Maybe all of this is just a new form of marketing for the album? People seem to be attracted to bat-shit crazy drama. Since the beginning of these threads, I've seen at least 2 announcements on Facebook about the new Black Pyramid album. Looks like it's working.

also speaking of rebreather, i've been fortunate enough to hear some of the tracks from rebreather's "slowdance", and look forward to a proper release of the album, which is a great piece of heavy music..i also look forward any future live performances of this music
