As a swede i have a thing for swedish stoner. I've gone and compiled a Spotify-playlist with swedish fuzz but i am not sure i got everything. I'd love some help compiling the ultimate swedish stoner playlist. I've concentrated on the stonery/spacy/deserty rock. The doom and drone and sludge is in their own playlists.

Here's the playlist:
http://open.spotify.com/user/htdg/playl ... 70edmepyOv

For those of you that don't use Spotify, here's a list of the bands i've entered so far:

  • Lowrider
  • Asteriod
  • Greenleaf
  • Dozer
  • Truckfighters
  • Firestone
  • Astroqueen
  • Freedom Bleeder
  • Skraeckoedlan
  • Mamont
  • Abramis Brama
  • Kamchatka
  • Burning Saviours
  • Dead Man
  • Rävjunk
  • Dödaren
  • Mustasch
  • Graveyard
  • Spiritual Beggars
  • Roachpowder
  • Dexter Jones' Circus Orchestra
  • The Mushroom River Band
  • The Graviators
  • Brutus
  • Suma
  • First Band From Outer Space
  • Sideburn
  • Mangrove
  • Marulk
  • Ponamero Sundown
  • Space Probe Taurus
  • Gudars Skymning
  • Witchcraft
  • DarXtar
  • The Durango Riot

Following bands are bands that i tried to add but that didn't exist on spotify:
  • Demon Cleaner
  • The Awesome Machine
  • Spice and the RJ Band
  • Twin Earth
  • The High Vision Leaves The Burning Band
  • Digger Burns

So, have i missed anything? Please feel free to namedrop bands of your own or tell me if you think a band don't belong on the list.

Edit: By the way, i'm new here. Hi.
Edit2: Damn, forgot Durango Riot. Added.

Thank you for that, awesome! I love Swedish stoner rock as well. And those in Europe, I saw the Low Rider reunion show announced - that is one I'd love to see!

IMHO Witchcraft are neither stonery, spacy, nor deserty.

If you're gonna include them you might as well include old school bands like November and Asoka too. Hell, put Dungen on the list while you're at it. They're fuzzy enough.

Mammoth Volume. Ironic timing, their self titled album was the album we featured last night (will be posted on the website tonight). Great underrated band!

My favorite country for music based on the percentage that I've heard and liked is, by far, Sweden.
Don't forget Boogieman.

That's some funky shit. Thanks.

I've added Blind Dog, Mammoth Volume, November (En ny tid är här), Terra Firma, Blowback and Hong Faux.

Arn't Cowboys and Aliens from Germany or Holland or something?

Skogen Brinner is a new swedish band. Just got their Pundarvarning 7'' a few weeks ago. It's awesome.

Woah! Aren't Skanska Mord from Sweden? I don't know if they are on Spotify (I've never checked that site), but that band is Top Notch! Don't forget them.

That's a cool name for a band and a record. Added.

Also added Skånska Mord.

I was listening to Mother of God on Spotify yesterday. They would seem to fit the bill to me.

That was album I played today on my ride to work. Always get the morning off right when I hear it.
